Title: 
Universal metrizable minimal flows

Abstract:  Let G be a Polish group. We consider the following question: is it possible for the universal minimal flow M(G) to be nonmetrizable, but for there to exist a metrizable minimal Gflow which maps onto every other metrizable minimal Gflow? We show that this cannot be the case. As a corollary, we also show that if G admits only countably many metrizable minimal flows, then M(G) is metrizable.
