Forcing axioms and the rigidity of corona algebras II

| Abstract: | In the second talk of this series, I will state a recent conjecture of Coskey and Farah which ties together the results mentioned in the previous lecture, i.e. those of Rudin and Shelah on the autohomeomorphisms of beta N - N, and those of Phillips-Weaver and Farah on the Calkin algebra. Then I will state one of my own recent results in proving a specific instance of this conjecture, and prove some applications. |
